Three great things happened today. In no particular order:
1. I handed in my manuscript to my publisher.
2. Donald Rumsfeld resigned.
3. I got my iPod to work on my car receiver.
I was tempted to climb in bed at 4 pm, just so nothing could come along to wreck the day.
Congrats on all of the above. How did you get the iPod dealy to work?
Well, after trying the transmitter with various radios, I contacted customer service. they were stumped, and actually advised me to try another brand. Hey, I can take a hint! So I did more online research and bought a Kensington charger/transmmitter. The plug on it goes into the cigarette lighter to charge and also has the transmitter buttons, so it doesn’t bounce around in the car away from the aerial. so far. it works.
And now that the book is done, I can start to play with the iPod more, maybe be completely tuneworthy by Christmas.
Oh, I’m going to email you a part of the MS you’ll like. Later on today.
I entered “fondue” into Google Images and ended up here. Why I’m looking for internet fondue is a story in and of itself (I’m trying to get people in Alpine, California to do their ‘civic fon-duty’), but the point of the matter is I poked around your blog and had a lovely half hour. Thank you. Congrats on the MS. And the pod. And the Rumsfeld.
Thanks for stopping by. Come back again.
And we can all congratulate ourselves for Rumsfeld.
